Center of Movement
Center of Movement provides outpatient neuromusculoskeletal medicine including osteopathic manipulative medicine, electrodiagnostic testing, ultrasound-guided injections, shockwave therapy, and related services. Treatment is provided by Wassim Drissi, DO — a board-eligible physician specializing in neuromusculoskeletal medicine.
All medical procedures carry some degree of risk. Osteopathic manipulative treatment may cause temporary soreness, stiffness, or mild discomfort. Injection procedures carry risks of infection, bleeding, allergic reaction, and nerve injury, though these are rare. The benefits of treatment include pain relief, improved function, and reduced reliance on medication. Your provider will discuss specific risks and benefits before each procedure.
Your medical records are protected under HIPAA. Because we do not bill insurance, your clinical information is not routinely shared with any insurer. We will only release your information as required for your treatment, for payment, or as required by law. A full Notice of Privacy Practices is available upon request.
This is a cash-pay practice. We do not bill insurance. Payment for your visit and any procedures is due at the time of service, and you will be quoted the price before anything is performed. On request we can provide an itemized superbill you may submit to your insurer yourself, though reimbursement is not guaranteed. We require 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule appointments.
